Two calculators, no signup, nothing uploaded
These run entirely inside your browser. Nothing you type is sent anywhere, stored, or added to a mailing list — there is no form to submit and no account to make. They exist because the two questions working authors ask most often are arithmetic, and nobody should have to trade an email address for arithmetic.
What Perfect Year HQ is, and what it is not
Perfect Year HQ itself is a paid, done-for-you service for working authors, and almost all of it sits behind a client login — the year plan, the launch engine, the newsletter swaps, the real KDP royalty sync, the live lane demand. We are not going to pretend those are free tools. The tools on this page are free, and they are the honest free part: pure arithmetic on numbers you already have.
If you want the paid picture, the pricing is on the home page and nowhere else. If you want to understand the thinking first, start with how to plan your author year or release pacing.
Where our numbers come from
These tools are free and they invent nothing — every figure they return is arithmetic on a number you typed. The paid product is different: it runs on data we count ourselves, and we publish the count rather than round it.
Measured from live Perfect Year HQ records on 21 August 2026 (internal audit run IN-0777-2026-08-21). Counts cover active paying accounts only, as whole-population aggregates. We never name a client and we never publish a client's book, plan or sales.
Free tools elsewhere in the family
Perfect Year HQ is one of five sites run by Coral Hart Group on a shared reader-demand spine. These are the other genuinely free tools and data views.
