What you get
A year with Perfect Year HQ, month by month
Every plan is personal, so your months will differ. This is the shape of the sample plan shown on our homepage (a fictional cozy-mystery pen with five books), and the pattern every plan follows: work is matched to the kind of month it is.
Behind every month the same things run: the daily book tracking, the hourly KDP sync, the Bookclicker bookings and the alert emails. Four times a year there is a quarterly review: you say what shipped and what changed, and the rest of the year rebuilds around it.
How the data drives it
Three data streams feed the plan. Your own KDP numbers show what is selling now. Public Amazon data on your books and your backlist is captured daily (rank, reviews, price). And TropeSmith’s reader-demand data shows what readers in your pen name’s genre are asking for. The demand signal is not a separate report: the same signal shapes your next writing slot, your outlines, your blurbs and the marketing tools you use.
Sources: the product code and specification on our servers (hourly KDP pull, daily book tracking, demand feed). The live walkthrough is at plotprose.com/perfect-year.

Questions authors ask
What is Perfect Year HQ?
Perfect Year HQ is a month-to-month planning and marketing service for romance authors who publish on Amazon KDP. You answer a short set of questions about how you really write, and it builds a 12-month plan around your pace, your rest weeks and the buying seasons in your genre. The plan opens as a live dashboard that syncs your real KDP sales and royalties every hour, shows what readers in your genre are asking for, books and drafts your newsletter-swap admin through Bookclicker, and gives you 20 marketing tools that hand back finished drafts for you to approve. It costs $50 a month or $550 a year, covers every pen name, and is made by PlotProse, part of the Coral Hart Group.
How much does Perfect Year HQ cost?
$50 a month with no contract, or $550 once for the year (one month free against twelve monthly payments). Both plans include everything. There is no pen limit and no per-pen fee, and you can draft your year free before you pay.
What do I get month by month?
The first week you confirm your books, connect your KDP sales and (if you want swap admin) add Perfect Year HQ as an assistant inside Bookclicker. After that your plan sets the work for each month: months for writing ahead, launch and release months, a quiet writing stretch, a month that expects less of you, and protected rest. Every quarter you tell the plan what actually shipped and the rest of the year re-fits around it.
How does the reader data drive the plan?
Reader demand for your genre comes from our TropeSmith market data. It shows what readers are asking for, which tropes are rising, and what is under-supplied in your pen name's genre, so your next writing slot, your outlines, your blurbs and your marketing plays start from that demand rather than a guess. Each pen name sees its own genre.
Does Perfect Year HQ send anything without my approval?
No. Nothing goes out without your yes. Swap emails are drafted in your voice for you to send. We draft each newsletter in your voice; you approve it; we send it from your own MailerLite.
Do I have to use Bookclicker?
No. The plan, the production board and the royalty tracking work without it. Swap admin is the part that needs it, and you switch it on by adding Perfect Year HQ as an assistant in your own Bookclicker account, which you can remove at any time.
Who is Perfect Year HQ not for?
It is not for authors who want a person to run their ad accounts or post under their name, who want editing or ghostwriting, or who do not publish on Amazon KDP, because the real-sales sync is built around KDP. Its reader-demand data is deepest in romance.
